Bendtner Saves Arsenal Blushes, Man Utd Keep Pressure On

Good ole Nicky Bendtner, his last gasp equaliser against a very good, resilient Aston Villa side, felt like a winning goal as Arsenal fans everywhere looked to Craven Cottage and saw that Man Utd were winning 3-0 and heading back to the top. As it is Arsenal hold a precious point lead with still 10 games to go. Chelsea, who were otherwise engaged in some cup final last weekend got back to business with a 4-0 thrashing of West Ham and they are definitely not out of it.
Arsenal looked tired and short of ideas today, with Fabregas looking fatigued and not the player he was a couple of months ago. This is worrying for Arsenal and with AC Milan to come midweek, something we hope can be sparked back to life by Wenger and the rest of the team. This is the crucuial phase now, and there are still games aginast Chelsea and Man Utd away, which at this very moment look quite daunting for the young Gooners. Confidence is a fragile thing and Bendtners last kick equaliser could be the tonic Arsenal need.
